A PASSION FOR AI AND GROWTH.
Fix the argument before the automation, augment the team rather than replace it, use what you already own, and run brand and growth as one.
I'm working towards one thing: growth driven by AI, starting where it pays back first. That's marketing. The work is measurable, the feedback loop is short, and the cost of getting it wrong is a campaign rather than a company — so it's where an organisation can afford to learn what AI actually does for it.
It holds from a founder-led business turning over £500K to an enterprise running 50 markets. The size changes what's possible and how long it takes. It doesn't change the order: the argument first, then the measurement, then the automation. Reverse those and you get efficient marketing of the wrong thing.
Principles
AI changes the approach of marketing, not the reason people buy
It changes the cost too — production gets cheaper and targeting gets sharper — but cheaper production of a weak proposition is just a weak proposition, faster. Fix the argument first, then make it cheap to repeat.
AI doesn't replace a team, it augments it
You still need people for the judgement and the quality control; what changes is how much one team can carry. The monotonous work comes off their plate, and what is left can be done faster and at a scale that was not affordable before.
Most of the value is in assets you already own
Before buying anything, there is usually a data set, a content library or a customer base that has never been properly used. That is where the first return comes from.
Brand and growth are one system or neither works
Run them separately and you get efficient demand generation for a business nobody has heard of, or awareness that converts nothing. Combined, they compound.

Grow brands
An autonomous marketing team. Seven agents covering website, SEO, generative engine optimisation, CRM, content, performance and reporting — a marketing function for a business that cannot yet afford to hire one.
It is the argument on this page taken to its conclusion: if AI changes the cost of marketing, the businesses that gain most are the ones who could never afford the team in the first place.
